Manufacturing Assembler Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary: We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler Technician to support the production of our smart cart and mobility systems. This hands-on role involves mechanical and electronic assembly of components, wiring, system integration, and testing to ensure high-quality, reliable products. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electronic components for CartManager products (e.g., motorized carts, tracking systems, control units)
  • Install wiring, harnesses, motors, batteries, and other hardware into cart assemblies
  • Read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assemblies
  • Perform system-level testing and troubleshooting to verify proper function
  • Calibrate sensors, adjust control systems, and validate motor performance as needed
  • Identify and report defective materials, faulty components, or assembly issues
  • Maintain detailed production and quality records
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve processes and product performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all safety and ESD guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in manufacturing, electronics, or a related field is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly
  • Familiarity with wiring, cabling, soldering, and system testing
  • Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions, and schematics
  • Proficient with basic hand and power tools
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience with motorized systems, battery-powered devices, or fleet technology

PAY

$19 - $21/hr.
