Immediate opportunity for a TIG welder in Arlington on 1st shift.

Manufacturing plant specializing in Metal stamping, prototyping, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, tooling, and engineering is seeking a TIG welder to join their team.

Shift- 1st-

•  10-hour shifts, 4×10

Pay- 20-25hr DOE

Objective:

Function to produce parts to customer specifications in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe workspace.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding to assemble metal parts.
• Prepare, align, and inspect parts using tools and blueprints.
• Verify product quality with gauges and rulers.
• Identify and report defects or faulty equipment.
• Perform spot welding and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of relevant experience or training.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, basic math, and problem-solving.

Skills:

• Level I: Basic MIG welding with supervision.
• Level II: Intermediate MIG welding and blueprint reading.
• Level III: Advanced MIG/TIG welding on complex products.
• Level IV: Lead process improvements and waste reduction.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and work with arms extended.
• Occasionally kneel, squat, or reach.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. (lifting aids available).
